6. International Graduates

7. Business Impact Category (Work Permit Stream)

Who it’s for: This is the only active business pathway for entrepreneurs aiming for nomination in 2025

Net Worth: Minimum CAD 600,000, legally obtained
Education: At least secondary school
Age: 21–59 years old
Experience: Transferable management skills + business ownership/management background
Language: Minimum CLB 4 (English or French)
Residency Intent: Must intend to live in PEI and actively manage the business
Interview: Required with PEI Immigration Office
Step 1: Submission of Application : Once you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA), you must submit your complete application (online or by mail, depending on the stream) within the given timeline (usually 60 days).
Step 2: Application Review by PEI Immigration Office The PEI Office of Immigration will review your application to ensure all documents are complete, accurate, and meet eligibility criteria.

Step 5: Apply for Permanent Residence to IRCC
Using your nomination, you submit a PR application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), The process includes:
Medical exam, Background/security checks, Biometrics (if not already done)
Receive Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) : If IRCC approves your PR application, you’ll receive a COPR and PR Visa. You must then land in Canada or validate your PR status if you’re already in PEI.
